This is a RHD VW T5 (T30) LWB in original Indian Blue. LH sliding door, tailgate, tow bar with 13pin electrics, 1.9tdi (104 PS) engine, 5-speed manual box. Professionally converted by Beckenham in 2006, the van has a Reimo super low pop-top, and a Reimo vario bed on rails, which can be removed if you want the extra van space instead of seating/bed. Awning rail. The cab has twin Captains seats.

Side kitchen layout, 3-way Dometic fridge, gas heating, 45l onboard slide-out Reimo water tank. Twin burner gas hob. Gas is from a CampingGaz 907 cylinder. A spare cylinder is available.

The 1.9tdi engine gives 35 to 40 mpg, depending on driving style and terrain. We traveled from Galashiels to Redruth at motorway speeds and achieved 37 mpg. Euro 3 rated, this is a pretty bullet-proof engine.

Turbo and all shocks replaced during 2023, shore power upgraded and a new 100AH Lithium batttery fitted. New twin pole mains panel, Sterling Power split charge system with 175W solar panel to feed the 100AH leisure battery. 100AH 5 year Bosch engine battery fitted.

Electric windows, electric (T6 style) mirrors - including the electric fold.

New kiravan curtains fitted this year, and the insulation upgraded.

The MOT expires in May, but I’ll happily put a new MOT on for handover.
