VW Transporter, (2005) Good Motorhome for sale | CS4178B87

Reluctantly for sale is my 2005 VW Transporter T28 1.9 campervan.

The van has covered 113k miles with a full service last year alongside a driveshaft change and a new battery this year. The van has an MOT until July 2024 with its last passed with no advisories. The van has had a pendle performance remap to bring it up to 140bhp which gives extra power and fuel economy on longer drives.

In terms of the camper conversion I bought this van as a semi converted vehicle with the units and rock and roll bed already in situ. In the two years I have owned the van it has been converted further inside by a local business with full insulation, a Dometic CRX50 fridge, Dometic 9222 twin hob and sink with gas bottle safe, MS Craft swivel seat base, 240v hookup with split charging, a new leisure battery, 110W solar panel with MPPT controller, an opening driver side rear window, interior lights and a Matt black Reimo awning rail. In addition to this it has had new faux leather seat covers in the front, a new head unit with apple car play function, twin seat storage and all round curtains.

Moving onto the exterior it has had a reversing camera fitted, graphic designs on the side and back to enhance the visual appeal along with a sunstrip and side bars. It has upgraded auto sequential lights all round which do impress. It also has upgraded 20 inch alloys and is lowered (by the previous owner) and a bonnet guard but this can be removed easily if desired. There are other cosmetic upgrades that have been made such as gloss black badges and similar.

Included in the sale is all the cooking and dining kit pictured to nicely start you off for the summer along with a hook up cable for use on camp sites.

This sale is very reluctant as I have loved this van and used as a daily until late last year when I acquired a car. Unfortunately lack of use along side wanting to put some money into house renovations forces the sale and I want a new owner to get the enjoyment out of it that we did.

Also available is a non electric campervan pitch ticket for the Isle of Wight Festival 2024 which could be negotiated with the van if interested.
