Description

Description of Beds: Florence has 4 beds. A double master bed at the back of the campervan that comfortably sleeps 2 people. Anyone up to 6 foot 1 inches can fully stretch out. At the front of the campervan, there is one adult bed, and one small bed. There is plenty of head room to sit up in beds and read your favourite book or the daily newspaper with reading lights situated above the beds.

Description of Seating: There are 3 belted seats including 2 belted seats in the drivers cabin and 1 belted seats in the habitation area of Florence. When you arrive at your destination there are 2 spacious living areas, one at the front and one at the back of the campervan that can seat 4 people in each part, plenty enough room for a game of cards or to play board games.

Description of Electrical Setup: Florence has 2 electric sockets to use when hooked up to electric at the campsite as well as 2 USB charging points to charge your phones. When off grid the solar panels on the roof top up the leisure battery and you can still use the USB chargers to charge your phones. Florence also comes equipped with an adaptor so you can still watch your favourite television programmes or films when off-grid.

About the area: Florence lives in a small town in the East of Bristol located 20 minutes from Bristol City Centre, 30 minutes from Bath City Centre, 20 minutes from the M32 which takes you straight on to the M4 towards Wales and London and the M5 towards Glastonbury, Devon and Cornwall or the Cotswold, the Midlands and the North of England.

Parking: Florence is parked on the driveway in a quiet residential cul-de-sac which means when she’s hired you can leave your vehicle in her space safe in the knowledge your vehicle is off road and parked safely on the driveway. If you arrive by train Bristol Temple Meads is a 15 minute drive in a taxi and Bristol Parkway is a 20 minute drive by taxi. If you arrive by coach into Bristol City Centre that is a 20 minute drive by taxi and Bristol Airport is a 30 minute journey.

Cooking Equipment: Florence has a built in cooker including 4 gas hobs, a grill and oven. The cooker is powered using gas and she has two 8 litre gas bottles, one that can be topped up at an LPG filling station and the other as a spare if required. Florence has all standard kitchen utensils onboard including pots, pans, chopping boards to cook with and plates, bowls, cups, glasses, corkscrew, tin opener, cutlery to eat and drink with. She also comes with salt, pepper, olive oil, herbs and spices as well as tea and coffee. If any food or drink is left over Florence also has sandwich bags, cling film and foil. Florence also has a washing up bowl, washing up liquid, surface sprays and wipes and a dustpan and brush.

Water and Sanitation: Florence has a self-contained washroom with toilet with flush and internal shower with trigger shower nozzle meaning you maximise water usage. There is a 50L water tank onboard which can be easily topped up using a hosepipe or her onboard water carrier which provides your drinking water. When hooked up to electric at the campsite water can be heated via the electric hot water pump and when you are off grid water can be heated using the gas boiler. The thermostat controls the heating if you want to give the campervan a blast of warm air after using her internal shower. There’s a 20 litre grey water tank which collects all waste water from the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink and the shower. She has a grey water carrying tank onboard to empty the grey water when it gets full.

Audio Equipment: Florence has a Pioneer Radio/Satnav with DVD player and CD playing functionality. Speakers are connected throughout the van so your favourite songs can be played on the Pioneer head unit at the front of the campervan but be heard in the seating area at the back of the campervan. The head unit is also Bluetooth compatible meaning you can link your own media devices to it and play your own songs.

Type of Heating: Florence has gas central heating using a Truma boiler and thermostat so you can adjust the temperature of the campervan to your liking.

Extra Information: Florence has been designed with the safety of her passengers in mind. She has Thule locks on her external doors so when you leave her to go out for your walks or to go out for the day, she has that added protection of being able to be ‘double locked’. Internally Florence has a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector and in the case of a fire she has a fire extinguisher and fire blanket on board if required.

Florence has a sun awning which can be pulled out to provide protection from the sun. She also comes with two comfortable camping chairs so you can sit outside and relax.

Conversion Story: Florence was professionally converted by Devon Conversions to a very high standard and she’s been looked after very well. Although a 2009 model of the Iveco Daily she has only done just over 79,000 miles and she drives like a dream particularly when she’s full up and ready to go on her travels. She has everything you’d need onboard and can be described as genuinely a home from home such has been her design.
