About the area: Hot Cocoa is located in Preston, Lancashire only an hour away from the edges of both the Lake District and Peak District.

Description of Beds: Hot Cocoa boasts a state of the art electric bed that converts into a coffee table, dining table or even a standing desk. The bed and sofa cushions are made from a fully memory foam mattress, and the corner sofa transforms into a spacious 150cm x 175cm bed (close to a king-sized). If you chose bedding as an extra, the sheets are made from 100% linen or cotton.

Description of Seating: Hot Cocao can transport a total of three people.

Description of Electrical Setup: You can immerse yourself in off-grid living with Hot Cocoa’s 240W solar power set-up. The 180ah leisure batteries are charged either via the solar power, or an 240v hook-up cable with a household plug adapter or while driving the van via the split relay. There is also a Subcold Fridge with freezer compartment, 4 x 240v plug sockets in living room space and 2 x 240v plug sockets in driving space

Parking: Hirers are welcome to park in a secure private car park. If you come by train, pick ups can be arranged from Preston Train Station by prior arrangement.

Cooking Equipment: Hot Cocoa is fitted with an electric induction hob with 2 burners (this can be used for short periods off-grid but requires a 240v hook up on site to cook a full meal). You benefit from the safety of having no gas on board and can still make a hot beverage off-grid but nothing more than that until hooked up on site. Cooking utensils include; 4 x plates, 4 x bowls, 2 mugs, 2 plastic cups, 2 plastic wine glasses, 16 set of cutlery, 2 standard cooking pans, 1 frying pan, 1 colander, 2 kitchen knives, 1 chopping board, 1 gas kettle, 1 tin opener, 1 corkscrew/bottle opener, 1 washing up bowl, 1 washing up liquid, 1 scrubber, 5 clothes, 1 dustpan and brush, plastic bags for bin and 4 x kitchen towels.

Water and Sanitation: Hot Cocoa has no toilet unless you request the standard removable Thetford toilet as an optional extra. There is an extendable shower hose adapter which screws onto the kitchen tap. There is a removable 25L fresh water tank below the sink which provides water to the kitchen tap via a 12v water pump.

Audio Equipment: A high quality portable, wireless, bluetooth waterproof speaker is provided with the van for use in the living area. A standard van bluetooth or aux radio is provided in the front of the van while you’re driving.

Type of Heating: Hot Cocoa has a diesel heater in the living area as standard. If you would like us to fill the diesel heater tank for you please select as an extra.

Pet Information: Cats and dogs are welcome in the Hot Cocoa. Please select as an extra.
