With a top of the range charging system from the engine alternator, 250w of solar, 220 a/h trojan batteries, 9 usb charging points, 4 plug sockets, 1200w Victron inverter and shore power hook up capability. There are a 8 different lighting options including reading brass boat lights and soft backlit panels.

About the area: Cosmo lives about a mile from Wells next the Sea on the North Norfolk Coast close to some of the best beaches in the UK. Holkham, Wells, Burnham Overy and Brancaster are all within 30 minutes and other amazing secret spots and hidden gems of North Norfolk including Stiffkey, Cley, Salthouse and Blakeney (some with free park ups). Slightly inland you have Sandringham, Castle Acre, Blickling, The Norfolk Broads and hundreds of other popular destinations. Our handbook “Cosmo’s Bible’ details many of our favourite places to adventure, swim and eat.

Parking: There is private parking for your vehicle where Cosmo lives in rural Norfolk. In some circumstances we may be able to meet you, but mostly you should plan to come to us.

Cooking Equipment: Cosmo’s cooking is done via the two stylish and functional gas hobs, and the very clever little fan powered bbq. The 80L fridge with freezer compartment has a very clever external compressor and is almost completely silent. Everything is provided for you to cook up a feast including pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, chopping boards, a kettle, a coffee press, and all of the normal items you would normally envisage for van life. There’s also a brilliant wooden folding table and stylish chairs.

Water and Sanitation: There is a15L water tank under the sink and an outdoor shower that fixes to the side of the van. There is a pop up portable loo to use either in the van or in the pop up loo tent which is ready to go in seconds!

Audio Equipment: The cab features a DAB radio and Bluetooth media player. In the rear there are Mackie studio monitors with Bluetooth connectivity.

Type of Heating: A top of the range temperature controlled gas heating system is fitted with gas Safety certification.

Extra Information: Extra features include: the central section under the bed has an open space to fit surfboards, SUP’s or kite surfing equipment. In the rear there’s a wetsuit storage drawer and tool storage drawer. There is a huge lockable safe with a false floor that is large enough to store laptops, cameras, documents way out of harm’s way. There’s a big wardrobe (for a campervan!) with clothes hangers, a purpose built wine bottle storage space, levelling ramps and enough storage to keep the living area free of clutter. The bed is a bespoke double layered breathable memory foam and is extremely comfortable. With a little care total blackout is achievable meaning a really good nights sleep. Dan and Amy actually sleep better in Cosmo than they do at home!

Conversion Story: After months of dreaming and meticulous research Dan found a top of the range ex-demo Peugeot with 20,000 miles on the clock. Full Peugeot professional spec includes a reversing camera, touch screen DAB audio interface, AC, cruise control, trip computer, speed limiter, tyre pressure sensors.... and electric everything! They put a deposit down within minutes - project Cosmo began. They soon realised they had such a good van that in order to do it justice they would have to get the expensive version of 'everything else’ to go with it. Hence no expense has been spared to design exactly what Dan and Amy wanted from van life. Everything has been thought of and it is very cleverly laid out. Dan and Amy have spent months in Cosmo on festival sites, so it's been tried, tested and revised and refined.

When designing Cosmo, Amy put design first and Dan made all of the systems to fit what they wanted rather than the was quick and and easy route. Lights, switches, storage, control panels and charging points are where you want them, designer fabrics, wallpaper and hand made bespoke features line all visible spaces including a hand beaten brass sink, an oxidised copper splash back and House of Hackney heavy weight blackout curtains and blinds. Being festival organisers, they chose wardrobe space over never used inside loos and showers, and of course they fitted a great sound system!
